SPECIAL PROJECT

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County believes in the benefits that playgrounds bring to a community and the development of the whole child- mentally, physically and socially.   Children are constantly learning through play by making new friends, sharing, taking turns and interacting with other children.   Additionally, the physical activity that happens during play is a key factor in fighting America’s obesity epidemic.  Children run, climb and build strength all of which increases their health.  A playground space supports the health and development of the whole child and the community that surrounds it.

Over the last year, our community has helped the Boys & Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County raise over $140,000.00 to replace our existing play structure at the Bair Family Clubhouse.  Through generous gifts from businesses and individuals we raised the funds needed to make this project a reality.  We opened the new play structure to Club members on April 05, 2022 and both members and staff enjoyed the new equipment testing out the zip line, swings, merry go round and so much more.  We are very grateful for the community’s help in doing Whatever It Takes to bring this Special Project to life for our program and kids.  Thank you!
