A Legacy of Innovation & Impact
Brian Dennis, President & CEO

Each time you hire an individual for your team, you hope that person will stay with you for a while and help move the organization forward. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County has been fortunate to find many of those people over the years, but it is rare indeed when you find someone who has a transformative impact for more than 20 years.
Annie Hasiak is one of the rare individuals, and since October 24, 2005, when she joined the team as our Castle Rock Teen Director, she has been relentless in her commitment to those who need us most. Her nearly 21 years of service have been instrumental in building a foundation of excellence that has forever changed the Club and has positioned us to save the lives of countless kids and teens for years to come! It would take volumes to chronicle her full impact, but we hope the following will give you a sense of the scope of Annie’s impact.
A Commitment to World-Class Professionals
Annie is a recognized Boys & Girls Club expert with her relentless commitment to leadership development and the pursuit of a workplace culture that ensures every team member has the tools, training, and consistent support to become the world-class Club Professional each Club Member is looking for!
Passion & Commitment to Teens
From Day 1, Annie has pushed the organization forward with her passion for middle and high school students. Her relentless effort and advocacy has built a team of leaders just as passionate about older members and together they have created an experience that has moved us from a few middle school kids to 324 middle and high school students actively enrolled last year! In addition to more teens coming to the Club, her relentless commitment has led to significant programming that helps ensure each middle and high school member graduates on time with a plan for the future!
Expanded Family Engagement & Support
The Club’s mission is kids and teens, but experience has taught us that for some members to be successful, their parents and families need some extra help. Annie’s leadership has moved the Club from providing a few fun Family Nights each year to an intentional effort to build trusting relationships with parents so our Clubhouse leaders can walk beside a family to help them access the extra support they or their children might need.
Supporting Mental & Behavioral Health
Never one to shy from a direction because the path is difficult or the destination unclear, Annie has spent several years learning and leading our team to develop a strategy and design the infrastructure to expand member access to critical mental and behavioral health support. While the impact in this area has just begun, it is clear Annie’s latest innovation is another significant step forward for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County as we continue to strive to make sure those who need us most have the help they need.
Annie’s impact on the Club, all the members we have served and will serve cannot be overstated, nor can it be replaced. We can only honor her incredible legacy by building upon the foundation she helped establish and wish she and her family well as they look forward to new adventures within sight of beautiful beaches along the Atlantic Ocean!
Thank you Annie, for what you have done for all of us. We will all miss you.
