2026 Jenny Nemer Sibinger

Memorial Scholarship Recipient

Meet the winner of the 2026 Jenny Nemer Sibinger Memorial Scholarship, Abigail Barnes!

Abby has been a Bair Family Club member since 2023. When she first joined, she worked hard to break through her anxious shell and has become a pillar in the Clubhouse! She was an active member of Keystone, and thought of everyone in all of her actions. She earned the opportunity to visit Wales with Keystone to learn about Club culture in other parts of the world.

At Senior High, she was a member of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, Senior Advocates, choir, and held various jobs, all while volunteering for the school and community.

One of Abby’s main goals is to be the first in her family to attend college and earn a higher education degree. This fall, she will begin her journey towards that goal at Rocky Mountain College where she intends to study Aeronautical Science.

“I appreciate how hard my parents have worked to support my goals. I know that in order to get my dream job that I have been wanting for a while, I have to further my education for a few more years. Once I get there, I know it’ll feel amazing.”

Each year, the Jenny Nemer Sibinger Memorial Scholarship Fund at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County Endowment Foundation awards an annual $1,000 higher education scholarship to a member or former member of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County. Awarded scholarships can be renewed up to a maximum of four years, for a potential $4,000 scholarship.
