Keystone Club Partnership

Keystone is the Boys & Girls Club of Yellowstone County’s most dynamic Teen program. It affords Teens an opportunity to gain valuable leadership and service experience. Teens conduct activities in four areas: academic success, career exploration, community service, and Teen outreach. Keystone Club provides leadership development opportunities for young people ages 14 to 18. With the guidance of an adult advisor, Keystone Club aims to have a positive impact on members, the Club and community.
Locally, Keystone Club conducts a series of community activities and fundraising events that aid members in learning valuable character and leadership skills in a hands-on manner. These activities accumulate towards attending National Keystone Conference, which brings together members from all across the globe. Throughout the conference, Keystone members engage and socialize with peers, explore relevant issues, and develop skills to support and enhance efforts in their local Boys & Girls Clubs and community.
This year marks the fifth year of a Keystone Club program in Yellowstone County. Each year our local chapter sets goals they would like to accomplish. The majority of the outcomes include achieving the Gold standard membership, fundraising for Keystoners to National Conference, and improving the community through a service project.
We are grateful this year to receive a corporate sponsorship towards the Keystone Club. Stockman Bank has agreed to continue their long history of investing in our community’s youth with a $30,000 gift. This investment is designed to support the Keystone program by offering our Teen Club members with the practical experiences they need to learn and grow with guidance, challenges, and fun.
“Supporting our youth throughout the great state of Montana is a priority at Stockman Bank,” said Spencer Frederick, Stockman Bank Billings Market President. “The development of our youth is instrumental in the foundation that is forged for their adult lives. Families, schools, and youth-serving organizations like the Boys & Girls Club all play vital roles in fostering education, health, and overall well-being. We recognize the importance of these partnerships and are dedicated to helping build a strong, unified support system that enables our youth to thrive.”
Thank you Stockman Bank for your strong understanding of the importance of supporting our Teens in building valuable life skills in a fun and engaging environment. We are excited to see the waves our Keystoners make in our community over the next several years engaging their peers, cultivating their voices, and growing the Club’s local efforts to reach more kids.
