Want to be Remembered?
When There’s a Will, There’s a Way
You can make a gift today that will support our mission far into the future.
A bequest is a gift through your will or trust. Itâs simple to make, costs you nothing during your lifetime, and has flexibility so you can plan it to meet your personal objectives. For example, you can leave a certain dollar amount, you can designate a percentage of what remains in your estate after your debts are paid and your heirs are cared for, or you can leave a piece of property.
You can direct your gift to meet the Clubâs greatest needs or to support a specific program thatâs meaningful to you. You can also use a bequest to make a tribute gift that honors someone special.
Sample Bequest Language
Simply fill in the blanks and pass along this language to your attorney to include in your will or living trust.
I give, devise and bequeath to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County Endowment Foundation, located in 505 Orchard Lane, Billings, MT 59101 or its successor, the sum of $___________ (or a description of the specific asset) to be used for such charitable purpose(s) as the governing body of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County Endowment Foundation or its successor, may decide in its discretion (or for the support of a specific fund or program).
We can also give you language if youâre interested in making a residual bequest (the âleftoversâ of your estate) or a contingent gift (where the Boys & Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County Endowment Foundation only gets the gift if certain circumstances occur.)
Ensuring Great Futures for the Next Generation
We would like to recognize and express our heartfelt appreciation for Leslie and Mary Campbell, who made the Boys & Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County Endowment Foundation a part of their legacy. Through their advanced planning with their will, they have ensured generations of youth will have the opportunity they need to achieve the Great Futures they deserve. In addition to changing lives their gift was designated in memory of Mary Campbell. We are very grateful for Leslie and Mary Campbell who opened their hearts and made a lasting legacy that will impact the Clubâs mission far into the future. Their passion for providing kids with a safe, positive and caring environment will be remembered and benefit young people for years to come.
